What's New

New Reporting Section: Reconciliations

The Reconciliations section is a new area within Reporting, available to dealerships that have Accounting Integration enabled. It contains a set of reports specifically formatted to help reconcile Inventory and Control accounts between Blackpurl and your accounting package.

These reports are designed to assist your bookkeepers and accountants in reconciling figures in Blackpurl against the relevant General Ledger accounts in your accounting package.

What's Improved

The following fixes and changes have been made in this release:

  • VIN protection on reserved units — Added a restriction to prevent users from removing the VIN from reserved units.

  • Vendor document formatting — Fixed a formatting issue on vendor documents that caused header information to be scaled down and display very small.

  • Cash reconciliation — Preferred Payments — Updated the cash reconciliation tool so that the Preferred Payments payment method is not included when that integration is not enabled.

  • Cash reconciliation journal entries — Removed time values from the narration/description included in cash reconciliation journal entries.

  • Part retail price — duplicate browser tabs — Fixed an issue where having Blackpurl open in duplicate browser tabs caused incorrect handling of part retail price when the part and vendor retail controls were being modified on different tabs simultaneously.

  • Customer filter on service jobs report — Fixed an issue where the customer filter on the service jobs report only matched exact values. The filter now supports partial matches.

  • Parts Needed report — Part Type filter — Updated the Part Type filter on the Parts Needed report so that Sublets can be selected.

  • Part quantity in stock — Fixed an issue with part quantity in stock that occurred when modifying min/max settings and finalising a Customer Order (CO) at the same time.

  • Part record location selection — Fixed an issue that prevented users from selecting a location on a part record.

  • Shipping addresses on customer report — Fixed an issue with shipping addresses on the customer report. The field is now populated with the first shipping address defined for the customer.

  • Average Spend per Order column — Removed the total from the Average Spend per Order column on the customer report, as the totalled value was not meaningful.

  • Zero dollar clocking entries — Implemented a change to prevent sync failure notifications from being triggered by zero dollar clocking entries.

  • MFA for new users — Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is now automatically enabled for all newly created users.

  • Global search from BRP lookup page — Fixed a UI issue encountered when accessing global search from the BRP lookup page.

  • Deal unit calculations on forms — Updated deal unit calculations on forms.
