This article will show how Dealerships can list a Co-Buyer on a Financed Deal

Customer Order > Unit Deal - Finance Co-Buyer

In some instances, Dealerships may be required to have a Co-Buyer listed on a Financed Deal

For our example - John Price is purchasing a Unit with finance but the finance company requires that Catherine Price be listed as a Co-Buyer on the Unit Deal

The Dealership would create the Unit Deal in John Price's name and process as normal ie add the unit / add the proposed options / trade in etc then add Deal Financing

In the Deal Financing section after adding the Finance Company, you will notice

Using our example we clicked on the User-added image which will allow us to Search for a Co-Buyer customer and add Catherine Price

The Co-Buyer must have an active Customer record in Blackpurl so if they are a new Customer, click on User-added image to create your new Customer record

Then the Dealership just needs to continue with the processing of the Unit Deal - however all documentation will now indicate that there is now a Co-Buyer - Catherine Price
