INTRODUCING - FINANCE DEAL CO-BUYER ON A UNIT DEAL

In some instances, Dealerships may be required to have a Co-Buyer listed on a Financed Deal.

Our example:

John Price is purchasing a Unit by finance but the finance company requires that Catherine Price is to be also listed as a Co-Buyer on the Unit Deal.

How does this work?

The Dealership would create the Unit Deal in John Price's name and process as normal ie add the unit / add the proposed options / trade in etc then add Deal Financing.

In the Deal Financing section after adding the Finance Company, you will notice a new field called ADD A CO-BUYER.

This is where you would search for and add the Co-Buyer details by clicking on

Using our example we clicked on the which will allow us to Search for a co-buyer customer and add the Co-Buyer Customer - Catherine Price.

The Co-Buyer must have an active Customer record in Blackpurl so if they are a new Customer, click on to create your new Customer record

All documentation will indicate that there is now a Co-Buyer - Catherine Price.
