Blackpurl integrates with BRP across several features, giving dealerships access to dealer lookup, article search, purchase order status, product availability, and automated parts pricing. This integration is available to USA and Canadian dealers only.
Before You Start
To enable the BRP integration, your dealership must complete the BRP integration request form. You will be asked to provide the following details:
Your BRP Dealer ID
Your BRP Username and Password
The Blackpurl Vendor Code for your BRP vendor record
To find your Blackpurl Vendor Code, navigate to the relevant BRP vendor record in Blackpurl and copy the code shown there.
Integration Features
Once BRP integration is set up in Blackpurl, the following features become available.
1. BRP Lookup
Access BRP Lookup by navigating to the Blackpurl header and selecting Tools > BRP Lookup.
BRP Lookup offers two options: Dealer lookup and Article lookup.
Option 1 — Dealer Lookup
The Dealer Lookup tab lets you find other BRP dealerships by location or name.
Click into the Start searching field. Nearby BRP dealers will appear first, sorted by proximity. You can also search for a specific dealer by name. Once you find the dealer you are looking for, click on their listing to view their full details.
Option 2 — Article Lookup
The Article Lookup tab lets you search for specific BRP articles. Click the Article lookup tab, then click into the Start for an article field and search for the relevant article. You will need to know the article you are searching for before using this tool.
2. BRP PO Status
The BRP PO Status tool lets you search for the status of Vendor Orders placed with BRP. Access it by navigating to Tools > PO Status in the Blackpurl header.
Use the available search fields — Order Type, Order Status, and Date Submitted — to filter and find the status of your Vendor Orders. Click into any search field to see the available options.
3. BRP Product Availability Lookup
BRP Product Availability lets you check stock levels at the BRP warehouse. This lookup is available from two places in Blackpurl.
Option 1 — From a Part Record
Navigate to the relevant BRP part record and click Vendor availability. The availability dialog shows whether the part is available directly from BRP and the quantity in stock. You can also view availability from dealers near you or from all dealers.
Option 2 — From a Customer Order
Create a Customer Order (CO) as normal, search for and add the relevant BRP part, then click Vendor availability. The same availability dialog appears, showing BRP warehouse stock and the option to view availability from nearby or all dealers.
4. Integrated BRP Parts Master
The Integrated BRP Parts Master provides fully automated part number and pricing updates from BRP. Once this integration is active, you no longer need to run the Automated Price File tool manually for BRP — though you can still view price files through the Automated Price File tool if needed.
The Integrated BRP Parts Master runs automatically each night to check for new part numbers and pricing updates from BRP. A tile in the Parts workspace displays when the last import was completed.
The integration also automatically applies TAGS to part records based on the BRP product line code — for example, ATV or Snowmobiles. Parts can receive multiple tags based on the information supplied by BRP.
Click the Integrated BRP Parts Master line to view or change settings for the automatic BRP price file upload.
The configuration page also allows optional mapping of BRP categories to Blackpurl categories. BRP uses three vendor-defined categories — Parts, Accessories, and Clothing — and you can map each to the corresponding Blackpurl category.
