Open Service Jobs Report

View and manage all open service jobs from the Blackpurl reporting section to identify jobs ready to close or follow up.

The Open Service Jobs report lists every service job currently open in Blackpurl. Use it to review outstanding work, identify jobs ready to close, and follow up on jobs that may need attention.

Running the Open Service Jobs Report

Navigate to the report by following these steps:

1. From the Blackpurl header, click Reporting, then select Reports.

2. In the Blackpurl reports section, go to Service > Open Service Jobs.

Default Parameters

The report opens with the following default parameters applied:

  • Type — Service Job

  • Status — Open

Default Columns

The report displays the following columns by default:

  • Type

  • Order Number — click any order number to open the relevant Customer Order

  • Customer

  • Job Type

  • Status

  • SO Status

  • Job

  • Unit Description

  • Technician

  • Total

  • Opened

  • Modified

Customising the Report

The Open Service Jobs report can be filtered and configured to suit a range of uses.

  • Change the default parameters by clicking the Filters panel. For example, filter by a specific technician, a date range, or a different status such as Invoiced to see what has been invoiced over a given period.

  • Change which columns appear by clicking Columns and selecting or deselecting as needed.

Example: Daily Invoiced Jobs by Technician

To see how much has been invoiced for the day for a specific technician, adjust the parameters as follows:

  • Status — Invoiced

  • Invoice Date — select the date or date range

  • Technician — select the technician you want to report on
