Prerequiste
Connection needs to be made using the Super Connector between Blackpurl and your Shopify store

Shopify Settings
Once connection has been established, Dealership will needs to complete the following in System Settings > Settings and Controls - Shopify Settings
A. | Shopify transaction type It is recommend that you create a new Transaction Type just for your Ecommerce Store sales as it will make it easier to track Ecommerce Store transactions This article will assist if you need to create a new Transaction Type - Setting up Transaction Type This means each time a sale transaction integrates over from Ecommerce Store to Blackpurl, it will automatically allocate the correct Transaction Type to it Once you have selected with Transaction Type you want to use, you will need to update this field |
B. | Shopify payment method Once you know what Payment Method you want to use for all your Ecommerce Store sale transactions in Blackpurl, update this field Again it will be easier for tracking, if you keep your Payment Method you want to use for your Ecommerce Store Transactions in Blackpurl totally different to your other Payment Methods We would suggest you use the Payment Method setup for this purpose called Webstore This article will assist if you need to review your Payment Methods - Selecting Payment Methods |
C. | Fee for unidentified products Any Shopify products available for sale on your Ecommerce Store must be linked via the correct Super Connector protocol via Website Product Manager in Blackpurl to a Blackpurl Part Record to ensure accurate data flow Should a product in your Ecommerce Store not have the correct relationship with a Blackpurl Part Record, AND is purchased in Shopify, then this unidentified product will still integrate to Blackpurl Customer Order but will show up under this fee instead Once you have identified what fee you want to use for unidentified products, update this field It might be the case that you want to create a new fee for a selling transaction to keep it separate from all your other fees in Blackpurl This article will assist if you want to create a new fee for this purpose - How to Create / Add a New Fee |
D. | Fee for Shopify Discounts If the Ecommerce sale has offered a discount then that discount needs to integrate and reflect in the Blackpurl Customer Order, this is the fee that you want the discount to show as a line item in Blackpurl It might be the case that you want to create a new fee for a selling transaction to keep it separate from all your other fees in Blackpurl This article will assist if you want to create a new fee for this purpose - How to Create / Add a New Fee Once you have worked out what fee you want to use, update this field |
