This Report can be used for two purposes:
First Report
- Run the report with the defaults to show you a list of active Vendor Receivings (VR) that have not been finalized and have the status: in progress
- Customers' VRs are sitting with the status: in progress then they are not finalised and do not show the part in stock to meet your customers requirements etc
Second Report
- Run the report as normal but then change the report to show you any VRs that have the status: Stocked
This means that the VR is still waiting for a Vendor Invoice to be posted against it
This is very important to ensure that all VRs are completing the full VO / VR / VI process
- This is the link to the article that will explain the VO / VR / VI Process and why it is important to complete the process - Understanding the Vendor Ordering / Vendor Receiving / Vendor Invoices process (VO / VR / VI) / What can go wrong
How to run the Active Receivings Report
- From the Blackpurl Header > Reporting > Reports
- In our Blackpurl reports section > Ordering > Active Receivings
First Report - Running the Report with the Defaults
- The default for this report will show all VRs that are in process for you to review and work out if they need to be finalized
Remember the parts on an in progress VR will not show in stock on the relevant Part Records until the VR is finalized
Go through the list and click on the Receipt Number to see if the VR can be finalized
Second Report - Running the Report with changes to Status: Stocked
This report can also be changed to show you those Vendor Receivings (VR) that have not had a Vendor Invoice (VI) processed against it
To track those VRs that have not had a VI attached to it - run the report as normal but then change the parameter to see all VR that have the status to Stocked
This will show you the VR that are stocked only - this means that a VI has not been posted against the VR
If the full VO / VR / VI process has been completed VR should have the status Invoiced (not In Progress or Stocked)
