This article will explain what the Blackpurl Header is and how to use it 



Blackpurl Header


This is what the Blackpurl Header looks like, and it is at the top of all Blackpurl screens:

 


An explanation of what each Blackpurl Header section does is as follows:


  • Click on   at any time and it will take you back to the Blackpurl Homepage

  • Click on to start processing your Customer Order for Parts & Accessories / Start a Service or Repair Job / Sell A Unit or Start an Internal Service

  • Click on  and it will take you back to your Blackpurl Homepage

  • Click on  and it will take you to all things Unit Sales related




The tabs will then be available for selection:

  • Summary - gives the user an overall summary page ie Active Deals / Dealers by Sales Rep etc 


  • Deals - gives the user a list of active Unit Deals in Blackpurl and the ability to create a new Unit Deal 


  • Quotes - gives the user a list of quote Unit Deals in Blackpurl and the ability to create a new Unit Deal / Quote etc


  • Inventory - it will list all stocked units with their statuses ie active / reserved etc and type ie Consignment / New / Used etc, and the ability to create a new Unit Deal


  • Pending Trade-ins - it will list all pending trade-in Customer Orders 


  • On Order - it will list all units on order and give the user the ability to sell the unit 


  • Deal Service - it will list all Deal Services in play 

Once the user is on the section that they need to be and the results have been generated, the user will have different options available to them


For example in the Deals section, the user can:


  • Click into  and type what you are specifically searching for ie CO-0000003 or the customer name etc
  • Click on and start a new Customer Order Unit Deal
  • Click on and filter down the results to find the information that you want
  • Click on to give you the options of View Report / Print List / Export List




  • Click on  and it will take you to all things Parts related

     

The tabs will then be available for selection:

  • Summary - It will provide the user with a summary of Active Sales etc


  • Sales - gives the user a list of active Customer Orders in Blackpurl and the ability to create a new Customer Order for Parts


  • Quotes - gives the user a list of quotations in Blackpurl and the ability to create a new Customer Order for Parts


  • Special Orders - gives the user a list of Special Orders Customer Orders in play 


  • Inventory - goes to a screen that the user can select to list all inventory OR search the inventory OR list Inventory that has no Locations etc


  • Kits - gives the user a list of Kits in the system 


  • To Pull - provides a list of parts and their Customer Orders that need to be pulled from stock 


  • Part Counting - will provide a list of all part counts (their statuses) and the ability to create a new part count by clicking on 


  • Price Files - the user can see all Processed Part Files and what their status is as well as have the ability to manually import a price file by clicking
     




Once the user is on the section that they need to be and the results have been generated, the user will have different options available to them


For example in the Sales section, the user can:


  • Click into  and type what you are specifically searching for ie CO-0000003 or the customer name etc
  • Click on and start a new Customer Order Part Sale
  • Click on and filter down the results to find the information that you want
  • Click on to give you the options of View Report / Print List / Export List



  • Click on and it will take you to all things Service related



The tabs will then be available for selection:

  • Summary - it will give you a summary of what is happening in Service ie Active Service Jobs / Active Technicians etc 


  • Customer Jobs - a list of all active Customer Orders > Service Jobs and the ability to create a new Service Job


  • Claim Jobs - a list of all active Third Party Service Jobs ie Warranty / Insurance etc and the ability to create a new Service Job


  • Internal Jobs - a list of all active Internal Service Jobs ie Service Jobs for Stocked Units and the ability to create a new Internal Service Job


  • Estimates - a list of Service Jobs with estimates and the ability to create a new Service Job


  • Job Schedule - how to access the Scheduler 


  • Job Clocking - How to access Job Clocking (remember that you can also access Job Clocking from the Customer Order itself)


  • Special Orders - a list of Service Jobs that have Special Orders in play 


  • Sublets - a list of Service Jobs that have sublets attached 


  • Kits - a list of Kits that can be used in Service Jobs 


Once the user is on the section that they need to be and the results have been generated, the user will have different options available to them


For example in the Claims Job section, the user can:


  • Click into  and type what you are specifically searching for ie CO-0000003 or the customer name etc
  • Click on and start a new Customer Order Part Sale
  • Click on and filter down the results to find the information that you want
  • Click on to give you the options of View Report / Print List / Export List




  • Click on  and it will take you to all things Ordering related for both Parts and Units 



The tabs will then be available for selection:

  • Summary - it will give you a summary of what is happening in Ordering for Parts only 


  •  Parts Needed - it will allow you to list all parts that are needed to satisfy Customer Orders or auto reorders, as well as give the user the ability to place an order by clicking 


  • Vendor Orders - a list of the active Parts Orders, and will also give the user the ability to place an order by clicking


  • Vendor Receiving - a list of active Vendor Receiving and the ability to create a new Vendor Receiving by clicking this


  • Vendor Invoicing - a list of Vendor Invoices and the ability to create a new Vendor Invoice by clicking this


  • Parts Returns - a list of Parts Returns and the ability to create a new Parts Return or assign a Vendor Credit


  • Unit Needed - a list of Units Needed to satisfy Customer Orders > Unit Deal, and the ability to create the order on the relevant line item 



  • Units Ordered - a list of Units that have been ordered / to order more units / the ability to receive units 


  • Unit Receiving - a list of Unit that have been received 


Once the user is on the section that they need to be and the results have been generated, the user will have different options available to them


For example in the Units Received section, the user can:


  • Click into  and type what you are specifically searching for ie specific Unit etc
  • Click on and filter down the results to find the information that you want
  • Click on to give you the options of View Report / Print List / Export List



  •  Click on  to see all things Admin related



The tabs will then be available for selection:

  • Summaryit will give you a summary of the Admin items 


  • Cash Reconciliation - this is one way users will be able to access Cash Reconciliation - the other way to access Cash Reconciliation is through Tools > Cash Reconciliation


  • Fusion Reporting (available for our Australian dealerships) - this is how dealerships can run their Fusion Report 


  • Tax Activity - users will be able to access the Tax Activity section 


  • Fees - a list of Fees that are available and the ability to create a new Fee by clicking


  • Labor Codes - a list of Labor Codes that are available, and the ability to create a new Labor Code by clicking


  • Payroll Clocking - ability to access Payroll Clocking, including clocking on/off and managing 


  • Vendors - a list of Vendors that are available, and the ability to create a new Vendor by clicking 


  • Customers - a list of customers and the ability to create a new Customer by clicking


  • Users - takes the user through to System Settings > Users 



  • Click on will provide you with the option of going into Reports or Workshop Dashboard



Once you make your selection, it will take you either to Reporting or the Workshop Dashboard 



  • Click on will give you access to different sections of Blackpurl



  • Click on and it is a quick option for adding on to your Blackpurl


Simply complete the form attached for the add-on that you require  



  • Click into field and it will give you access to the Global search and provide you with search options
