The Approve Deals user permission controls who can change the status of a Customer Order unit deal to Approved. When this permission is enabled for a user, that user can open a unit deal and move it to Approved status. Users without this permission cannot perform that status change.

When a user with the Approve Deals permission opens a Customer Order unit deal, they can use the Change Deal Status dialog to set the deal's status to Approved. Users who do not have this permission will not have the ability to approve deals, ensuring that deal approvals are restricted to authorized staff only.
