Overview
Blackpurl includes two reports specifically for Customer Order unit deals: Active Unit Deals and Deal Units. Both are found in the Reporting section and can be filtered and customized to suit your needs.
How to Run the Reports
To access either report, navigate to Reporting in the Blackpurl header, then select Reports.
In the Blackpurl reports section, select Units, then choose either Active Unit Deals or Deal Units.
Active Unit Deals Report
The Active Unit Deals report lists all active unit deals across all statuses by default. The default parameters show deals with any of the following statuses: Quotation, In Progress, Approved, or Invoiced.
Filtering the Report
You can change the report parameters by clicking the filter icon and updating your criteria. For example, to see only Quotations between July and September 2024, open the filter panel, change the status to Quotation, set the date range to July–September 2024, and apply the changes.
Default Columns
The Active Unit Deals report includes the following columns by default:
Type
Order Number
Customer
Deal Type
Unit Information — if the Customer Order covers multiple units, this field displays "Multiple Units"
Total
Status
Modified
To add or remove columns, click the columns icon, make your selections, and apply the changes for the report to update.
Deal Units Report
The Deal Units report lists all deal units with a status of Sold in the last 30 days by default. This report is well-suited for tracking unit sales, consignment activity, and salesperson performance.
Default Columns
The Deal Units report includes the following columns by default:
Default Column | What It Shows |
Type | Indicates that the record is a unit, shown with the standard unit icon. |
Order Number | Lists the Customer Order number. Click the order number to open the Customer Order in a new tab. |
Stock Number | The stock number as recorded on the Unit Record. |
Status | The status of the unit: Available, Reserved, or Sold. |
Date Sold | The date of the invoice, if one has been issued. |
Invoice Number | The invoice number if the unit deal has been invoiced. Blank if the deal is still active and not yet invoiced. |
Unit Information | A formatted name showing the unit's Make, Model, SubModel, and Year. |
Customer | The customer name on the Customer Order. |
Deal Type | Indicates whether the unit deal is a Cash Deal or Financed. |
Salesperson | The salesperson recorded on the deal. |
Total Price | The pre-tax total price of the unit. |
Filtering Examples
You can adjust the report parameters by clicking the filter icon and making your changes. Here are some common examples:
To see only your own sold unit deals from the last 30 days, open the filter panel, change the Owner to Owned by me, and apply.
To report on unit deals with Temporary Units attached, set the status to Quotation and adjust the remaining parameters as needed.
To see consignment units sold within a specific period, filter by consignment type and set your desired date range.
Customizing Columns and Totals
To add or remove columns, click the columns icon and check or uncheck your selections.
To view totals for costings and other figures, click the See More Totals button and select which totals you want displayed in the report.
