The Claims Service Jobs report lists all service jobs that have a claim attached — such as a warranty claim or insurance claim. It also shows any deductibles associated with those claims, making it useful for reconciliation if your dealership uses accounting integration.
How to Run the Claims Service Jobs Report
1. In the Blackpurl header, click Reporting, then select Reports.
2. On the Reports page, navigate to the Service category and select Claim Service Jobs.
3. The report opens with default parameters set to Open Service Jobs with Claims. Review the columns displayed for each service job, including any deductible amounts.
You can adjust the parameters and columns to suit your needs. For guidance on changing columns, applying filters, exporting results, and saving custom reports, see Reporting Tips and Tricks.
Reconciling Claims Deductibles with Accounting Integration
For dealerships using accounting integration, the Claims Service Jobs report can be used to reconcile your Claims Deductible General Ledger. The total of the Deductible column in this report should equal the General Ledger balance attached to the Control Account for Claim Deductible Clearing.
