When the floor plan management feature is enabled, additional values and fields are available on the unit page.
Floor plan information
When a unit is flagged as being a floor plan unit, the Ordering/Floor plan section of the unit page will expose additional information showing the Flooring Company and the Floor Plan Terms applicable to the unit.
Now in this section you can see not only which vendor the unit was ordered from but also information about it being on a floor plan.
Interest costs applied to the unit
As part of the Price & Cost Tracking for a unit an additional listing will appear once some floor plan interest has been processed against the unit from a floor plan statement.
The totals for the unit will now include accrued and expensed interest and the Floor Plan Interest listing will detail each time that interest costs were applied against the unit.
Accrued interest is included in the inventory valuation of the unit whereas Expensed interest is not and is only included for information purposes.
Editing a floor plan unit from the unit page
When you are editing a unit that is currently flagged as being a floor plan unit, you have the ability to change which floor plan terms apply to the unit stop it from being a floor plan unit.
If the unit is currently tied to a floor plan statement, you will only be able to edit the Floor Plan Terms assigned to the unit.
