This article will cover how Blackpurl can check if a part is available in the warehouse of the Vendor: Cassons

Prerequisite

If Cassons approved the API access, they will reply to the Dealership's request with an API key

It is our understanding that the API key provided to your dealership is private and confidential and dealership specific

Once you have the relevant permission and API key, please email those details and your request through to Blackpurl Support (support@blackpurl.com)

Blackpurl Support will then arrange the setup of your Blackpurl in the back end with an API (Application Programming Interface) call against Cassons for your dealership and then let you know when the setup has been completed

  • Dealership must already have the Vendor: Cassons in your Blackpurl together with all the relevant Cassons' part records

How does it work

Once setup is completed, this feature is available in two options:

Option One - Part Record

  • On each Part Record of a Cassons' part, this new feature is available

  • Click on this icon -

  • Blackpurl will do an API call to Cassons to see if Cassons has this part in stock at their warehouse and the relevant quantity and then report back

Option 2 - When adding a Cassons' part to a Customer Order

  • Once  the Cassons' part has been added to a Customer Order, click on

  • Blackpurl will do an API call to Cassons to see if Cassons has this part in stock at their warehouse and the relevant quantity and then report back
