Accessing the Unit Check-In Section
The Unit Check-In section can be accessed from two places in Blackpurl: when creating a new appointment in the Scheduler, or from the Service Job on a Customer Order.
From the Scheduler — New Appointment
When creating a new appointment in the Scheduler, the Unit Check-In section is collapsed by default. Click the down arrow on the appointment form to expand it and enter check-in details.
The expanded Unit Check-In section contains five fields:
Date Due In — the date the unit is expected to arrive at the dealership
Time Due In — the time the unit is expected to arrive
Unit Arrive — check this box if the unit has already arrived
Date Promised — the date the unit must be returned to the owner
Time Promised — the time the unit must be returned to the owner
From the Customer Order — Service Job
On the Customer Order, open the Service Job section and click the Unit Check-In icon in the Service Job header bar to open the check-in dialog.
The Unit Check-In dialog contains the same five fields:
Date Due In — the date the unit is expected to arrive at the dealership
Time Due In — the time the unit is expected to arrive
Unit Arrive — check this box if the unit has already arrived
Date Promised — the date the unit must be returned to the owner
Time Promised — the time the unit must be returned to the owner
Click Save after entering check-in details.
Where Unit Check-In Details Appear
Unit Check-In status is visible directly on the Service Job header in the Customer Order. An icon in the header indicates whether check-in details have been recorded:
A plain icon means no Unit Check-In details have been entered for this service job.
An enhanced icon means Unit Check-In details are available for this service job.
