The Sale Price field on a Part Record lets your dealership manually set a discounted or promotional price for a part. When a user adds that part to a Customer Order, the system automatically applies the Sale Price — as long as the Sale Price is not greater than the normal calculated price for the customer.
How to Add a Sale Price to a Part Record
Follow these steps to set a Sale Price on a Part Record.
1. Navigate to the relevant Part Record and click EDIT.
2. Scroll down to the Sale Price field and enter the price you want to apply.
3. Click SAVE to confirm your changes.
Once saved, the Part Record displays the Sale Price alongside the MSRP and Retail Price in view mode.
Sale Price and Imported Price Files
Importing a price file does not override the Sale Price field. When a price file is imported, it updates only the MSRP, Retail Price, and Cost fields as specified by the file. The Sale Price is never touched by a price file import — it must be updated, changed, or removed manually on the Part Record.
