The Modify Payment Method Surcharge permission controls which users are allowed to manually override a payment method surcharge that has been automatically applied at the point of payment. If your dealership has a payment method surcharge configured, only users with this permission enabled will be able to modify or remove that charge.

The Modify Payment Method Surcharge permission is located under User Permissions > Special Actions > Modify Payment Method Surcharge. Enable this permission for each user who should be allowed to override the automatic surcharge.
