This release includes new features, workflow improvements, and bug fixes across tax management, customer records, deal printing, accounting integrations, and more.
What's New
Tax Activity and Settings — Consolidated in One Place
All tax-related functions are now consolidated under Other Tools > Tax Activity & Settings. This includes tax reporting, editing, tax rates, tax codes, and defaults — previously spread across multiple areas of the system.
The Tax Detail Report has also been significantly improved, with better performance and new date filters. For full details, see Other Tools > Tax Activity and Settings (no longer available).
Payment on Account History on Customer Record
The A/R Activity section of the customer record now includes a full listing of all previously processed payments on account. From this list, you can reprint or re-email receipts to the relevant person. For full details, see Payment of Account.
Improved "Add Customer" from Customer Order
When searching for a customer on a Customer Order and no match is found, clicking to create a new customer will now pre-populate the first and last name fields using the text you already typed in the search box. If the search text contains no spaces, only the last name field is pre-populated.
Form Printing for Multi-Unit Deals
When printing forms on a multi-unit deal, you are now prompted to select which unit to populate on the form. This eliminates the need to create separate form templates for each unit in a multi-unit deal. For example, when printing a custom mapped form, you can print a separate form for each unit by selecting one unit at a time from the prompt.
New Restrictions in GL Mapping for Accounting Integration
Blackpurl now enforces stricter rules on General Ledger (GL) account mapping. Part and unit inventory GL accounts can only be assigned as the inventory account on part or unit categories — they cannot be assigned anywhere else in the system. Additionally, a single GL account can no longer be used as both the part inventory and unit inventory account assignment.
Fusion Benchmarking Report Updates (Harley-Davidson Dealerships — Australia)
The Fusion Benchmarking report has been updated with revised values and new additions for Harley-Davidson dealerships in Australia. For full details, see Fusion Benchmarking (no longer available).
