Blackpurl Homepage Overview and Customization

Learn what the Blackpurl Homepage shows, how to navigate back to it, and how to customize which information cards appear and in what order.

Blackpurl Homepage Overview

The Blackpurl Homepage is your personalized dashboard. Each user's homepage can look different because you choose which information cards to display — and the cards available to you depend on your user permissions.

The individual cards of information you have chosen to display on your homepage. These are configured using the Customize options described below.

To return to your Blackpurl Homepage from any screen, click the Blackpurl logo (lightning bolt icon) or the Your Home button in the Blackpurl Header.

Customizing Your Blackpurl Homepage

You can customize your Blackpurl Homepage using the Customize icons that appear on the homepage. There are two locations where these icons appear — clicking either one opens the same Customize panel.

The Customize panel shows two sections:

  • Available Cards — cards that are available for you to add to your homepage

  • Current Cards — cards that are currently displayed on your homepage

The list of Available Cards is filtered by your user permissions — you will only see cards for areas of Blackpurl you have access to.

Selecting Which Cards to Display

To add or remove cards from your Blackpurl Homepage:

  • To add a card, check the checkbox next to the relevant option under Available Cards, then click the add arrow button to move it to Current Cards.

  • To remove a card, uncheck the checkbox next to the relevant option under Current Cards, then click the Apply button.

After making your selections, click Apply to save your changes and update your Blackpurl Homepage.

Setting the Order of Information Cards

Once you are happy with which Information Cards appear on your Blackpurl Homepage, you can reorder them so that the most important information appears first — for example, placing Service: Third Party Claims at the top of your homepage.

To reorder cards, click and hold the drag handle icon next to the Information Card you want to move, then drag it up or down to the position you want. Click Apply when you are done to save the new order.

Each Information Card also shows a preview of how it will appear on your homepage — either tall and thin, or flat and wide — so you can plan the best layout before applying your changes.
