Unit Ordering for a Special Ordered Unit

How to action a special order unit in Unit Ordering after converting a temporary unit on a Customer Order Unit Deal.

This article covers what happens in the Unit Ordering section after a temporary unit on a Customer Order Unit Deal has been converted to a special order unit, and what steps the dealership needs to take to complete the order.

Before You Start

Before working through Unit Ordering, the dealership must have already completed the action to convert the temporary unit to a special order unit on the Customer Order Unit Deal. For instructions on how to do this, see Option 2 in Quote a Temporary Unit Deal in a Customer Order.

Once that action is complete, the status of the unit on the Customer Order Unit Deal will show as Required. To change the status back to Temporary, open the unit deal and update the status there.
