This article describes every user permission in the Account Administration section of Blackpurl. Use it to understand what each permission grants and what combination of permissions is required to give users access to specific areas of System Settings.
System Settings
The System Settings permission grants a user access to the System Settings dashboard. This permission is a prerequisite for most other Account Administration permissions — enabling a sub-permission (such as Accounting Integration or User Management) without also enabling System Settings will not give users access to that area.
Accounting Integration
To give a user access to Accounting Integration from the System Settings dashboard, enable both the System Settings permission and the Accounting Integration permission.
User Management
The User Management permission grants access to both the Users and User Permissions sections from the System Settings dashboard. To enable this access, enable both the System Settings permission and the User Management permission.
Tax Management
To give a user access to Other Tools > Tax Activity & Settings, enable the Tax Management permission.

App Settings
The App Settings permission grants access to the following tiles in the System Settings dashboard: Branding management, Business profile, Cash drawers, and Settings & controls. To enable this access, enable both the System Settings permission and the App Settings permission.
Linked Fees & Forms
The Linked fees & forms permission grants access to Form repository, Linked fee management, and Linked form management from the System Settings dashboard. To enable this access, enable both the System Settings permission and the Linked fees & forms permission.
Locations & Tags
The Locations & tags permission grants access to Product locations and Tag management from the System Settings dashboard. To enable this access, enable both the System Settings permission and the Locations & tags permission.
Make & Model
To give a user access to the Make & model tile in the System Settings dashboard, enable both the System Settings permission and the Make & model permission.
Text Templates
To give a user access to Text message templates from the System Settings dashboard, enable both the System Settings permission and the Text templates permission.
Unit Pricing & Options
To give a user access to Unit pricing and options from the System Settings dashboard, enable both the System Settings permission and the Unit pricing & options permission.
Price Levels
The Price Levels permission has two independent access levels:
Assign — enables the user to assign Price Levels on customer records.
Create / Modify — enables the user to create and modify Price Levels within System Settings > Settings & Controls.
