Blackpurl lets you define default unit pricing and factory options by Make, Model, and Sub-model. Once configured, these defaults automatically populate when processing Unit Orders and when adding temporary units on Customer Order Unit Deals.
Setting Up Unit Pricing and Options
To access the Unit Pricing and Options configuration, navigate to the Blackpurl header and select Settings, then Unit Pricings and Options.
The Unit Pricings and Options page lists all makes you have already configured. Each make tile shows how many models are listed under it.
Adding a New Make
1. On the Unit Pricings and Options page, click Select a make (the circular plus button).
2. Select the relevant make from the dropdown and click Okay.
The make is now added to the page. The tile displays the make name and the number of models listed under it.
Adding Factory Options at the Make Level
Clicking on a make opens its configuration page, where you can define factory options that are available for selection across all models under that make.
To add a factory option, complete the following fields:
Type a unique Code for the option.
Type a Description for the option.
Enter the Price for the option.
As you add factory options, they appear in the list where you can view and edit each entry.
Adding Pricing and Options at the Sub-Model Level
To set default unit pricing and factory options for a specific sub-model, click on the relevant model to open its sub-model list. Then click the expand arrow (chevron) next to the sub-model you want to configure.
Complete the following fields for the sub-model:
Base unit price — the default retail price for units of this sub-model
Factory options — any default options to pre-populate for this sub-model
Using Default Pricing and Factory Options
Once defaults are configured, Blackpurl applies them automatically in two places.
Unit Orders
When processing a Unit Order, select the relevant Make, Model, and Sub-model. The default pricing and factory options you configured will automatically populate into the Unit Order form.
Customer Order — Temporary Units
When adding a temporary unit on a Customer Order Unit Deal, the default pricing and factory options for the selected Make, Model, and Sub-model will also automatically populate.
