Unit Sales Tracker Report

Track unit sales activity and confirm when a unit deal becomes a confirmed sale using the Unit Sales Tracker report in Blackpurl.

The Unit Sales Tracker report lets you monitor unit sales and salesperson activity by reporting on when a unit becomes a "confirmed sale." Use this report to get a snapshot of unit deals within a date range, filtered by unit type and salesperson.

What Is a Confirmed Sale?

A confirmed sale occurs when either of the following happens on a unit deal:

  • A deal deposit is taken on the Customer Order, or

  • The Unit Deal status is progressed from Quote to In Progress

Running the Unit Sales Tracker Report

To open the Unit Sales Tracker report, navigate through the Blackpurl header to Reporting > Reports.

On the Reports page, go to the Units section and select Unit Sales Tracker.

Default Parameters

When you first open the report, it runs with the following default settings:

  • Units from deals that have been confirmed sales

  • Date range: last 7 days

  • All unit types: Inventory, On Order, Temporary, Consignment, and Trade-ins

  • All salespersons

Default Columns

The report displays a standard set of columns by default. To customize which columns appear, click the column selection button and select or deselect columns from the list. Adding the profit columns is recommended to get a full snapshot of each unit deal.

Changing Parameters

To adjust the report parameters — such as date range or unit status — click the parameters dropdown and update the fields as needed. The Status field lets you filter by unit types such as On Order, Inventory, Consignment, and others.
