The Stock Unit Valuation report lists all stocked units and provides a valuation for your inventory. This article explains how to run the report, adjust its parameters, and filter results by a specific date.
How to Run the Stock Unit Valuation Report
1. From the Blackpurl header, navigate to Reporting > Reports.
2. In the Blackpurl reports section, select Units > Stock Unit Valuation.
Default Parameters
The Stock Unit Valuation report opens with the following default parameters:
Type — Inventory Units
Status — In Stock
Unit Type — Stock Unit
You can change any of these parameters by clicking the filter controls at the top of the report, then clicking Apply to refresh the results.
Default Columns
The report displays the following columns by default:
Type
Make
Model
Submodel
Year
Stock Number
Category
New Unit indicator
Age
Base Unit Cost
Factory Option Cost
Deal Option Cost
Total Cost
Deal Options WIP
You can add or remove columns as needed using the column management button in the report toolbar. To display totals, click the totals button (marked with a sigma symbol) and the default totals will appear.
Run the Report for a Specific Date
To view the Stock Unit Valuation as it stood on a past date, change the In Stock As Of parameter to Specific Date and enter the date you want to report on. Click Apply to run the report with the updated parameters.
