Customer Deposits Account Report

Track and reconcile customer deposit totals in Blackpurl using the Customer Deposits Account report.

What Is the Customer Deposits Account Report

The Customer Deposits Account report shows the total of all customer deposits held in Blackpurl and lists the customers who have paid them. Use this report to verify that your Blackpurl deposit totals match the corresponding General Ledger account in your accounting package.

How to Run the Report

1. From the Blackpurl header, navigate to Reporting > Reports > Reconciliation > Customer Deposits Account.

2. The report opens with the relevant filters, columns, and totals already configured.

3. Click Totals and review the Deposits total.


When to Use This Report

Run this report regularly — at minimum at the end of each month. This allows you to balance the Customer Deposit General Ledger in your accounting package against the Customer Deposit totals in Blackpurl.

What to Do With This Report

If your dealership has accounting integration enabled, use the Deposits total from this report to compare against the relevant Customer Deposit General Ledger account in your accounting package.
