The Deal Option Clearing Account report shows the total value of deal options that have been added to a Customer Order's Unit Deal where the Customer Order has not yet been closed out. Run this report regularly to keep your accounting records reconciled.
What This Report Shows
Deal options are items or services added to the Unit Deal section of a Customer Order while that order is still open. This report gives you the running total of all such deal options in Blackpurl, which you can then compare against the Deal Option Clearing General Ledger (GL) in your accounting package.
How to Run This Report
1. From the Blackpurl header, navigate to Reporting > Reports > Reconciliation > Deal Option Clearing Account.
2. The report opens with the relevant filters, columns, and totals already configured. To retrieve the Deal Option Clearing Account total, click the Totals icon and review the total displayed.
When to Run This Report
Run this report regularly — at a minimum, at the end of each month. This allows you to balance the Deal Option Clearing GL in your accounting package against the total shown in Blackpurl.
What to Do With This Report
