Blackpurl 2 FAQ: Navigation, Views, and List Actions

Answers to common questions about switching views, finding actions, filtering, and sorting in Blackpurl 2.

This article answers frequently asked questions about Blackpurl 2, including how to switch between views, where to find actions that moved from the Classic view, and how to work with list views in workspaces.

How Do I Switch Back to the Classic View?

When using Blackpurl 2, you can switch back to the Classic view at any time. In the Blackpurl header, click your Profile icon and then click Switch to classic view.

How Do I Switch from Classic View Back to Blackpurl 2?

If you have switched to the Classic view and want to return to Blackpurl 2, click the Settings icon in the Blackpurl header and then click Switch back to Blackpurl 2.

Where Are All of the Old "Add" Actions Now?

In the Classic view, all "Add new" actions were grouped together in a single dialog. In Blackpurl 2, each action is found in the workspace where the corresponding record is managed. The table below shows where each action has moved.

Where Do I Find the Old Store Summary That Was on the Home Page?

The Store Summary is now available as an Invoicing Summary tile in the Admin workspace, since this information is primarily administrative and managerial. You can also add the Invoicing Summary tile to your home page to keep it accessible at a glance.

How Do I Filter a Tab in a Workspace?

Every list view in Blackpurl 2 has a Filter button in the top right of the tab. Click Filter to open the Filters panel, which shows all available columns you can filter by. Expand any category to set your filter criteria.

Can I Change How a List View Is Sorted?

Click any column header in a list view to sort by that column. Clicking the same header again toggles between ascending and descending sort order.
