You can start a customer order directly from the Sales, Parts, or Service workspaces without navigating to the main Customer Order screen first. A number of workspace list views provide you with either a general Sell button and some list views give you a row-level Sell button.
Sales Workspace
The Sales workspace offers a "New Deal" button at the top right of the following list views:
Deals
Quotes
Inventory
The Inventory list view also provides you with a row-level Sell button when the unit has an Available status. When using this row-level Sell button the unit will be automatically added to the deal after you have selected a customer you are selling to.
Parts Workspace
The Parts workspace offers a "New Sale" button at the top right of the following list views:
Sales
Quotes
The Inventory list view also provides you with a row-level Sell button. When using this row-level Sell button the part will be automatically added to the sale after you have selected a customer you are selling to.
The Kits list view also provides you with a row-level Sell button. When using this row-level Sell button the part will be automatically added to the sale after you have selected a customer you are selling to.
Service Workspace
The Service workspace offers a "New Job" button at the top right of the following list views:
Customer Jobs
Claim Jobs
Internal Jobs
Estimates
The Kits view also provides you with a row-level Sell button. When using this row-level Sell button the kit will be automatically added to the service job after you have selected a customer you are selling to.
