Unit Records / Customer Owned Unit Records > Attachments section


We have introduced a new Attachments section for Dealerships to be able to attach files to the Unit Records / Customer Owned Unit Records 

Users can upload individual files of up to 25MB in size (there is no limit as to how many) and we will support image formats and pdf


Example of a Unit Record with Attachments:



  • To add attachments, click on and following the prompts


  • These options will allow you to EDIT or DELETE an attachment

Unit Record > Unit Condition 

  • The 'New Unit' checkbox has been replaced with a new field called 'Condition'
  • There are 3 possible values available for selection - New / Used / Demo 




Unit Record > 'Not for Sale' checkbox

  • We have implemented a new 'Not for Sale' option on Unit Records 
  • When this toggle is enabled, it will prevent the unit from being sold on a deal and from being included in any FTP feed
  • The Dealership will need to manually move the toggle if they want to engage it 




Allowing to add Sublets as part of Kits


We have now allowed Sublets to be part of Kits 

When creating or editing Kits, you will now have the options to add Sublets to items that make up a Kit 




When that Kit is then added to a CO, it will then go through the normal VO/VR/VI process for sublet items

 What's Improved? 


Changed - where Last Stock Date and Last Sold Date were blank for parts, which was impacting part aging calculations

Resolved - fixed a sorting issue in the Technician Hours report for the “Time In” column

Resolved - implemented a possible fix to ensure service job report exports are generated correctly and match the displayed records

Resolved - an issue in the Invoice Detail Report where the Unit Base Sales value was not displayed when Factory Rebates were applied as discounts

Resolved - an issue where a non-package part was incorrectly shown as a packaged part on the Vendor Order screen
Resolved - an issue where location text was truncated on barcode labels when printing small labels using a Zebra printer. Added a custom setting to define the character limit for location

Resolved - an issue where the invoice journal entry was not syncing to QBO when the Buy Rate Commission was entered as a negative value
Resolved - corrected the total hours billed calculation in the Open Service Job report.
Changed - enabled the “Order as Individual Items” option for non-packaged parts with lot quantities on the Vendor Order screen
Resolved - an issue where the “Order as Individual Items” option was not displayed on the Vendor Order screen when adding a part through search. This option now appears as soon as the line item is added
Resolved - an issue where the sublet line item status was not updating in the Deal Service section when included as part of a kit
Resolved - an issue where auto taxes were not recalculated based on the updated shipping address
Resolved - issues related to the Edit Temporary Unit modal window screen

Resolved - implemented auto save for customer notes in classic CO

Resolved - an issue where the edit stock unit model window was not showing publish in feeds toggle

Changed - added a new custom setting for customer data so that FTP feed can have customers that are created in the last one hour
Resolved - an issue where users were unable to sync invoice journal entries with Xero

Changed - granted BlackPurl Profile users access to the legacy Accounting Reconciliation Tool
Resolved - an issue where dealerships were unable to oversell parts because the kit price became negative after applying CO based price levels
Resolved - an issue with the Publish in feed toggle not being exposed on the Add Unit model window
Resolved - an UI Issue where the Deal Product icon mismatch in STA search
Resolved - an issue to get the correct total for non taxable items in the BAS report
Changed - implemented a change that allows users to create an appointment by searching for the service job using the Customer Order (CO) number

Resolved - an issue in Global Search where users were unable to search for units using the unit invoice number

Resolved - an issue that prevented users from selecting attachment images when sending invoices via email from a CO. Users can now successfully include image attachments
Resolved - an issue where the part FIFO cost was incorrectly set to zero for third-party service jobs when parts were oversold
Resolved - an issue where phone numbers were displayed incorrectly on customer owned units
