When checking out a customer order in Blackpurl, you can choose to print the invoice to a receipt printer instead of a standard printer. This article explains how to complete that process from the checkout screen.
Before You Start
Make sure your receipt printer is installed and available for selection from your computer before following these steps.
Steps
1. Check out the customer order as normal and select Print Invoice when prompted.
2. When the What Would You Like to Print? window appears, select Print Receipt and click Print Selected.
3. The receipt opens in a new window in your configured receipt format. Click Print to continue.
4. In the browser print dialog, select the receipt printer you want to use and click Print.
What Prints on the Receipt
Due to the limited width of receipt paper, part numbers and labour codes do not print on the receipt. Only the part description and labour name are included.
