When a customer qualifies for a special pricing tier — such as a VIP discount after purchasing a unit — you can assign a new Price Level directly on their Customer Record. Once updated, all new Customer Orders for Parts & Accessories and Service Jobs will automatically apply the new pricing.
Before You Start
The Price Level you want to assign must already exist in System Settings > Settings & Controls > Price Levels. If you need to create one first, see System Settings > Settings & Controls > Price Level - Create or Amend Price Levels (no longer available).
Steps
1. Navigate to the relevant Customer Record and review the current Price Level shown on the record.
2. Click Edit to open the edit screen.
3. On the edit screen, scroll down to the Price Level field and click into it.
4. Select the new Price Level from the list of available options, then click Save.
5. The Price Level on the Customer Record is now updated.
What Happens Next
Any new Customer Order created for Parts & Accessories or a Service Job will automatically apply the updated Price Level. For Customer Orders that are already open in the system, the new Price Level will not apply automatically — you need to click Recalculate all Pricing on each open order to apply the new pricing.
