Exporting the Vendor Order
To send a parts order to American Honda, you need to export the vendor order from Blackpurl and then convert the file encoding to the format Honda requires before uploading it to their system.
Select the correct export format for American Honda from the Export Vendor Order dialog.
Click Export.
Enter your Dealer Code in the American Honda Export dialog, then click Confirm.
The export file will download out of Blackpurl to your computer.
Changing the File Encoding to ANSI
Blackpurl exports files using the industry-standard UTF-8 encoding format. American Honda requires the older ANSI encoding format, so you must convert the file before uploading it to Honda.
Open the exported file in Windows Notepad.
Click File > Save As.
In the Save As window, change the Encoding dropdown from UTF-8 to ANSI.
Click Save.
The newly saved file is the one you import into American Honda's system.
