Blackpurl allows you to control when Customer Order quotes are automatically archived and deleted. By default, no archiving or deletion settings are active — you must configure them to enable this behaviour.
Setting Up Archiving and Deletion for Customer Order Quotes
To configure automatic archiving and deletion, navigate to your system settings and update the relevant quote controls.
1. From the Blackpurl header, click your initials, then select Settings.
2. From the System Settings Dashboard, select Settings & Controls.
3. Click Other Settings in the left sidebar to expand that section.
4. Enable the relevant toggle or toggles for archiving and deletion, then enter the number of days you want for each.
5. Click Apply Settings to save your changes.
When calculating archive dates, Blackpurl uses the last modified date of the quote — not the date it was created.
For example:
To automatically archive quotes after 60 days of inactivity, enable the archive toggle and enter 60.
To automatically delete archived quotes after a further 180 days, enable the deletion toggle and enter 180.
Important: You cannot enable automatic deletion without also enabling archiving. Customer Order quotes must be archived before they can be deleted. Once a Customer Order quote has been automatically deleted, it cannot be recovered.
Reactivating an Archived Customer Order Quote
Archived Customer Order quotes are not permanently removed — they remain visible on the Customer Record under the Archived Quote section.
To reactivate an archived quote:
1. Open the relevant Customer Record and locate the quote under Archived Quote.
2. Click the Customer Order quote to load it.
3. Move the toggle to Reactivate quote.
The quote will return to active status and be visible in the standard Customer Order quotes section.
