Setup: Allow Pause of Job Clocking

If you want to give Technicians the ability to pause their Job Clocking without fully clocking off a job, you need to enable the pause setting in System Settings. Navigate to Settings & Control > Shop Settings and enable Allow pause of job clocking.

Enabling this setting has the following effects:

  • Technicians can pause their Job Clocking session without clocking off the job entirely.

  • Paused time is factored into the actual hours logged on a job and the related accounting entries.

  • All Technician Hour reporting includes paused time.
