How Blackpurl Reporting works

Blackpurl does not provide an unlimited list of reports. Instead, the reports provided are intended to cover common dealership reporting requirements while allowing you to customize existing reports or create your own.

There are three main ways to use Blackpurl Reports:

  1. Reports provided by Blackpurl
Use one of the reports supplied with Blackpurl without making changes. We have created the reports with default parameters and columns etc.

  2. Customize a provided report
Start with an existing Blackpurl report and change the columns, parameters, or other settings to suit your requirements.

  3. Create your own report
Create a new report when the existing reports do not provide the information you need.

Reports for Bookkeepers and Accountants

Blackpurl includes a Reconciliations section in Reporting.

The Reconciliations section contains reports that are recommended for Bookkeepers and Accountants to run regularly to assist with financial reconciliation.

For more information, see:

Scheduled Reporting

Some Blackpurl Reports can be scheduled to run automatically and be emailed directly to a Blackpurl Licensed User.
